Oborishte 63 is not the usual hotel design project.
Its cultural and physical context naturally extended into the design concept we used for its renovation. Genius loci – a spirit of a place: the approach and philosophy that allowed this renovation to become a one-of-a-kind experience.
The Lobby Bar, designed with organic shapes, depth and timeless materials, hosts rotating exhibitions of young, contemporary artists.
Each of the 9 rooms is based on an emblematic Bulgarian artist’s work and is named after it.
Ahinora – a symbolic, iconic work, represented by strong colour palettes, golden elements and graphic textures. Walking in it is like walking into the canvas of the artist.
The Thread – tactile, natural and warm are some of the characteristics that describe the atmosphere of this room, inspired strongly by the artist’s famous rope works. The underlined textures in different scales, as well as a very natural palette are complemented with a careful selection of particular designer pieces.
Wild Pear – inspired by the artist’s graphic work, it is a colourful experience that blends the boundaries between interior and exterior, bringing you into a utopian garden.
